'JUST PICTURE IT'
COMPETITION 

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and that is certainly true. For no matter how skilled and well written a narrative is, it can never match the power and impact of an equally well chosen picture to support it.
To prove the point just have a quick look at any of the images and matching texts in the various It's a Drivers World training books available in the products store. (See menu on the left)
Here on It's a Drivers World a good supporting picture in the form of a sketch or cartoon is worth more than just a thousand words.

IT’S ALSO WORTH £25.

If you have any kind of talent in this area why not have a go at the ‘Just Picture It’ competition.
Entry to the competition is free to everyone and offers a prize of £25 for the best supporting sketch or cartoon for a nominated anecdote in our ‘Memory Lane’ feature.

The anecdote requiring the treatment on this occasion is –‘Alien View’.
Put your imagination to work to produce the most apt and humorous interpretation of the narrative. (Preferably in digital format).
The winner will be the entry which most catches the eye of the It's a Drivers World adjudicator – whose decision shall be final.

The competition closes on 31st December 2010 so get your imagination in gear.

The winner will be informed directly and the whole world will be told right here. You’ll be famous for a month at least.

The winning entry will also be inserted, and have a permanent place, alongside the relevant anecdote. If you also sign it you will be advertising your skills to the entire world.

In the event that no entry is considered suitable the prize will be donated to our sponsored charity – The Acorns Trust. (See Quercus Robur).

There will be other competitions following on a monthly basis so keep coming back to try again. Next time the prize may be greater. You will never know if you don’t come back.
